Topic 1. Developing a Leadership Mindset.
What you’ll learn in this module
Now what we're going to do in this particular series is look at the psychology of a leader. As Anthony Robbins said, "success is 80% psychology, and 20% strategy". So there's no point in me talking about strategies, tools, and techniques in effective leadership until we've actually developed that psychology that is successful for a leader. So if this has whet your appetite, I'd love to show you how we can go about developing that leadership mindset. Let's dive in!

Topic 2. Adapting your Leadership Style
What you’ll learn in this module
If you joined me for Leadership Topic 1, Developing Your Leadership Mindset, you would know now it's really important to have a healthy, helpful, and productive mindset in order to be successful.
Adapting your leadership style is all about how we trigger an opportunity response rather than a threat response when we're dealing with our team. As you know, dynamics between people can be really challenging. We all know how there can be conflicts in families and between friends. We're dealing with people with different personality profiles, generations and cultures, and very importantly their intrinsic motivators. All of these influence how we receive information and whether that's going to trigger a threat response or an opportunity response.

Topic 3. Prioritising for Purpose
What you’ll learn in this module
This topic is all about figuring out where our time is going and whether we are working on what matters. There's no point in pouring your energy into work, if you're working on the wrong stuff.
Lately, you might have found yourself constantly crisis-managing. To be building sustainable, viable businesses for the future, we need to make time for your strategic long-term goals and objectives. So let's begin and learn how to Prioritise and get our lives back on Purpose!

Topic 4. Delegation or Abdication.
What you’ll learn in this module
If you joined me for Topic 3, Prioritise for Purpose, you would have learned that we need to be delegating those jobs that are taking us into the sand pit quadrant three, and spending time on things that don't matter, that don't give us the best bang for our buck.
The reason delegation fails is because we don't follow a structured approach. So in this series, I'm going to give you a fail proof five-step structured delegation process, as well as a brilliant little tool called The Delegation Checklist and we're going to work through that together. There's some great video footage that I'm going to share with you as well. Let's get started!

Topic 5. Coaching for Success.
What you’ll learn in this module
In our last topic, Delegation or Abdication, we spoke about how successful delegation always comes hand-in-hand with coaching. It's when we fail to coach someone that these delegations often happen to be unsuccessful, and that is what causes us to say, "I'm never delegating again, I'll just do it myself."
There's two types of coaching I talk about in this video, coaching for success, and coaching for improvement. The coaching for success is proactive, and sets your team members up proactively to be successful. The coaching for improvement is reactive, and it's when we allow our team members to fall off the bus, and then intervene and give them the coaching that they need to get them back, but by that time they have potentially lost their confidence, or we've lost our confidence in them.
Learning to distinguish between the two is a must if you're in any type of leadership role. Watch the video now.

Topic 6. Feedback for Optimal Results.
What you’ll learn in this module
This is the sixth and final topic in my Learning Leadership Series, Feedback: Delivering It, Asking For It, and Receiving It.
If you joined me for topic 5, Coaching for Success, we spoke about how no coaching is going to actually work unless we give feedback on what they did well, what we want more of, or constructive feedback on what we want less or we want them to do it differently. Most importantly, we want to deliver to feedback in a way that is factual, not based on opinions or assumptions, and keeps our relationship with our team members strong.
So I've got two great little tools that I'm so excited to share with you that is going to make giving positive and constructive feedback so simple and so easy for you and it's really going to make you confident in delivering this feedback. Let's get cracking!
